Year 6 into Year 7 Transition
A huge welcome to our Year 6 students and their parents/carers! We are really looking forward to you becoming part of our Conyers community.
Information for Parents
Important Dates
Here is a reminder of some key dates for your diary, with times confirmed:
Thursday 4th July – 1:45pm to 4:00pm additional visit for some Year 6 pupils who are out of area – by invitation only. Parents of the pupils who are invited will receive a letter by email.
Thursday 4th July (6:00pm) – Information Evening for Parents. Just follow the signs to our school hall.
Friday 5th July (8:50am – 3:00pm) – Transition Day at Conyers for all Year 6 pupils who have been allocated a place. All Year 6 pupils must line up with their Tutor Group on the front field (by the bus bay). Your child must wear his/her full primary school uniform and bring basic school equipment, such as a pen, a pencil, a ruler and a rubber. We will ask you to make a meal choice for your child for transition day (payable in Arbor) in due course.
1st day of School: Tuesday 3rd September. Students should be on the school site by 8.50 am.
Tutor Groups
Tutor groups will be allocated in due course and we will be in touch about this before transition day on 5th July.

Mission: Perseverando
Here is our transition project called “Mission: Perseverando.” Your child will receive their copy of the booklet on transition day (5th July) but some early birds might want to make a start! It is expected that your child will complete the project and hand it to their tutor in the first week in September.
Summer school!
The window for summer school applications is now closed. Congratulations! Everyone who has applied has been given a place. A letter will be sent shortly with more details.
