Spark Music
Learning to play an instrument is one of the most rewarding and enjoyable activities a young person can do. It is widely recognised that studying Music helps develop a wide range of skills and abilities that benefit the student both academically and emotionally. This is especially true for students who participate in ensembles such as bands and choirs. This is why Spark Music (formerly Go Music) was founded, and why the musicians across the Spark Education Trust perform as part of bands and choirs in events such as school shows, carol services, concerts and music tours.
Spark Music has over 500 students having peripatetic lessons in Conyers and Egglescliffe Secondary Schools as well as local primary schools.
